Cookie Policy (EU).
Our website, https://www.contrast3d.com (hereinafter: “the website”) uses cookies and other related technologies (for convenience all technologies are referred to as “cookies”). In the document below we inform you about the use of cookies on our website.
What are cookies?
A cookie is a small simple file that is sent along with pages of this website and stored by your browser on the hard drive of your computer or another device.
What are scripts?
A script is a piece of program code that is used to make our website function properly and interactively. This code is executed on our server or on your device.
What is a web beacon?
A web beacon (or a pixel tag) is a small, invisible piece of text or image on a website that is used to monitor traffic on a website.
Categories we use
Cookies are grouped by purpose, and you consent to them by group, not one by one:
Functional. Strictly necessary for the site to work or to provide something you asked for. They do not need your consent. Here they are your own consent choice and the mini-game scoreboard.
Preferences. Store choices you make so the site remembers them. This website does not currently use any.
Statistics. Measure how the site is used, in aggregate. Here this is Google Analytics, and only if you accept it.
Marketing. Build user profiles to show advertising or track people across websites. This website does not use any.
Cookies placed on this website
This static website places far fewer cookies than most. This is the complete list:
Stores your consent choice for this banner.
Expiry: 365 days
Scores of the mini-game in /pipeline/. Never leaves your browser.
Expiry: until you delete it
Visit statistics. Not loaded at all unless you consent to the Statistics category.
Expiry: up to 2 years
This website does not currently place any marketing cookies. The Marketing category exists in the consent banner so that, if that ever changes, nothing runs without your consent first.
International data transfers
The only third party on this list is Google Analytics, run by Google LLC in the United States. If you accept the Statistics category, the data it collects is transferred outside the European Economic Area.
That transfer relies on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, under Article 45 GDPR. Google LLC is certified under that framework. If you do not accept the Statistics category, no data leaves the EEA through this website.
Everything else on this website is served from our own domain: no other provider receives your data through it.
Consent
When you visit our website for the first time, we will show you a pop-up with an explanation about cookies. Statistics cookies are only placed after you accept them; declining or ignoring the banner leaves them off.
You can withdraw or change your choice at any time from the “Manage consent” tab at the bottom left of every page.
Enabling, disabling and deleting cookies
You can use your internet browser to automatically or manually delete cookies. You can also specify that certain cookies may not be placed. Another option is to change the settings of your internet browser so that you receive a message each time a cookie is placed. For more information about these options, please refer to the instructions in the Help section of your browser.
Please note that our website may not work properly if all cookies are disabled. If you do delete the cookies in your browser, they will be placed again after your consent when you visit our website again.
Your rights with respect to personal data
You have the right to know why your personal data is needed, what will happen to it, and how long it will be retained for. You also have the right of access, rectification and erasure, the right to transfer your data, and the right to object to its processing. If you gave consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
You can exercise these rights by writing to the contact address below. If you believe your data is being handled incorrectly, you can file a complaint with the Spanish supervisory authority (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, AEPD).
